WHAT TO EXPECT

In total, a South Fork Church service is about 70 minutes in length. We invite you to come a few minutes early and enjoy a drink and a variety of snacks such as donuts, fruit and homemade items.

Services begin with music. We love to sing and there will be about 3 songs with song lyrics that are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship, however you feel comfortable.

We also take communion every week. This is where we follow the example of Jesus in taking a small piece of bread and a small cup of juice and remember the love of Jesus at the cross.

Teaching from the Bible. We believe that God has gone to great lengths to make himself known and to guide us towards a relationship with himself. He has given us the gift of the Bible to help us know Him and how to live. Dave teaches for about 25-30 minutes and helps us understand and apply God’s word to our lives. We also like to use video clips to help connect the Bible to the world we live in today.

Giving. We’re grateful that God has given so much to us, so we give back our time, money, and talents to help others know about God. Feel free to respond by giving, but there’s absolutely no pressure or expectation since you’re our guest.

WHAT ABOUT…

WHAT ABOUT YOUNGER KIDS?

Kids are awesome! It’s a big deal to trust your kids to someone and we’re excited to get to be part of their lives. On Sundays we offer kids programming for Nursery up to Kindergarten.

If you’ve got kids, we’d encourage you to come to service a little earlier at 10:00 so you can get them checked in and not have to rush to service.

WHAT ABOUT OLDER KIDS?

We encourage families to worship together. They learn to sing, read the bible, and be part of something bigger than themselves by participating in Sunday mornings with their family and other families. We have an age appropriate kid activity page for the kids relating to the message so they can be sure to learn right along with their parents.

For older students we offer a group environment during the week to help them grow in their own personal faith.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS?

Wear clothes! That’s about it. We’re not fussy around here. We don’t care what you wear, just that you’re wearing something and that you’re here! Some people wear shorts, jeans and t-shirts. Some people tend to dress up a little more.

WHERE DO I PARK AND WHERE DO I GO WHEN I GET INSIDE?

We’ve got a special parking spot reserved right up front by the building that’s easily marked with signage. You’ll also see the main door opened with someone ready to greet you. As you enter you’ll immediately turn left and the sanctuary will be ahead and to your left.

WE PROMISE, YOU’LL ONLY FEEL NEW THE 1ST TIME. AFTER THAT… YOU’RE FAMILY!
